it's done. I must say, it's the first time in my life a relationship has ever ended because I was *logical* in an argument.

It hurts. It feels like there's a hole in my heart.

And it's not just him. I've lost a lot of people recently....and they all sting.

Weekly Update

It's been awhile since I've done this, but, honestly, nothing major has happened, and, if it did, I didn't feel like talking about it.

Addie and I have bronchitis, which sucks, especially in her case. Luckily, we're both on the mend, but we've been spending a little too much time together, if ya know what I mean. Now, I adore my baby girl with all that is holy, but I really have to be in top form to keep up....and I have most decidedly NOT been. The doctor had given us a paper on bronchitis, and one of the things it mentioned is that "your child will rest more than usual to allow their body time to recover." IF ONLY. She hasn't calmed down at all!

And of course, it would be the week the house is being redecorated. That's right people, the hideousness that was my dining room is no more. For those of you unfamiliar, the walls were a hospital green, and the trim a rather loud shade called "Victorian Scarlet" No more! Also painting the kitchen, bathroom, and hallway....got the couches cleaned, got some rugs, getting curtains, etc.

Yesterday I went shopping with Nate, pretty much allllll day, and made quite a few purchases for the house, including silverware! My quest is over! I'm tempted to throw a dinner party, with matching flatware and glasses, just because I can! Also got a new bed set, including sheets. Later today I'ma finally get my bed up on the frame, which I've been hoping to do for almost a year now. This week I might even finish painting the headboard and my room will look like an actual adult bedroom!

Watched the Oscars last night, and honestly, I was a little lost, as I haven't seen any of the big contenders this year. They're all on my list, I just haven't gotten to them yet. However, the one category I was pulling for won, and that made it all worthwhile. I've included it below for your enjoyment.* Correction-Blogger is fighting me. It'll be sidebar.
